How many pet owners dress up their pets? More than you think. It is no longer the little girl or boy that dresses up Fido or Felix, it’s now mom, dad, uncle and aunt. Petco, Petsmart and other major retailers are all jumping on the band wagon of carrying sweaters, raincoats, Halloween costumes and more for dogs, cats, rats and ferrets.
Large animal owners have not been immune from all this. Horse, llama and goat owners have their share of outer wear from blankets to costumes for parades and shows.
