Interesting way to groom a mane

A friend of mine emailed me the most unusual mane trimming I have ever seen. I asked him how long it took him to do the “cut” and he said about 40 minutes. He jokingly added that it took longer for the horse to pose for the photo.

He did add that he trimmed it that way to make sure his horse was not mistaken for a deer by some nearsighted hunter.
