Another gizmo for horseback riders - this time a good one

As horseback riders we are always bomb barded with new training techniques, books and gadgets all the time. Some are a complete waste of money and effort, others we wonder how we did without them. Here is something that I could use - a tack item that I can put on a halter to make it into a bridle and not cost me an arm and a leg.
Now I do know that there are halter/ bridle combos and in fact I have one, but the attachments for the bit are too long. This item comes in different sizes! Besides that fact the halter/bridle combos cost almost the same price as a good show bridle at $40+ dollars. This item is under $16!!! They can be found at Cascade Acres Tack.
